Bonjour, friends! We are partying French-style at my house! I love the French style of entertaining. It’s about ease, enjoying the company of friends and having a certain je ne sais quoi! Not much fuss is involved – just great drinks, French ingredients and a relaxing environment!
To make party planning easy for you, here are easy tips to throw your own French inspired party. Get these simple French ingredients together for a beautiful party.
Cocktails
Create a signature cocktail for your party. I paired Pinnacle® Original Vodka with some beautiful French lemonade for a light and refreshing cocktail. Charcuterie Plate – pair your favorite cheese and meats on a board for easy grabbing. If you go to any of my husband and I’s favorite restaurants they’ll tell you we sit and immediately order raw oysters and a charcuterie plate. It’s a must! Add some mini gherkins, plum sauce, mustard and beautiful fresh meats for a gorgeous display. Add a few pomegranates and pistachios for color. This pairs beautifully with the Pinnacle® Vodka cocktail I made!
Few things are as easy or as beautiful as an heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad. I added fresh basil from my garden and sprinkled it on top for color and flavor. Don’t forget to season the tomatoes with salt and pepper to bring out their summer flavor! Olive oil and vinegar add the finishing touch. My family devours this!
Watermelon, feta and cucumber salad. Add a touch of balsamic glaze to jump start it. I also added some fresh spearmint from my herb garden. It paired so well with the Pinnacle® Original Vodka and French lemonade cocktail!
