Last year I decorated a Gold Christmas tree for our sunroom with lots of white and gold Christmas tree decorations. I love to challenge myself to decorate with different colors (see my pink, red and blue one here!) This year I decided to use opulent Gold Christmas Tree ornaments and Gold Christmas tree decorations for a posh & glam look! Going with a white and gold Christmas tree almost brings a Narnia magical feel to your home. A lot of what I used are items I’ve had from year’s past so you can’t buy it right now. But I’ll share great options including the Gold Ribbon for Christmas tree, and Gold Christmas tree ornaments so you can recreate it! I love pulling this look together with a gold Christmas tree skirt. It’s that final glimmer that makes this elegant white and gold Christmas tree complete! Try it out and share with your friends your beautiful gold Christmas tree ideas.
White and Gold Christmas Tree
Gold Christmas Tree
It’s time to bring your gold Christmas tree ideas to life! This Gold Christmas tree mixes a few elements — a little gold wired ribbon, some gold rope, faux candle like top, gold Christmas tree skirt and of course, Gold Christmas Tree ornaments. The key is in mixing all of these elements with the color you want to stand out. Layer in that color in as many tones and textures as you can to create a very high end look.
Gold Christmas Tree Ornaments
The Gold Christmas Tree Ornaments used here are FROM FRONTGATE. I love, love, love their ornament collections. They come with a ton of various shapes and styles within that color scheme. It’s a foolproof way to buy ornaments. Plus you can use them everywhere because the collection comes with so many! When you’re tree is done, place some in a vase in your kitchen, or hang them from a lighting fixture or use them as table settings!

Gold Christmas Tree Decorations
Beyond the standard Gold Christmas tree decorations like ornaments, I thought adding some beautiful gold rope would add a lot of color and bag for the buck. This GOLD ROPE is very affordable and a little goes a long way. The shimmer of the thread and thickness of the rope is perfect to add a solid punch of color and texture.
Beyond that, for other Gold Christmas tree decorations look for gold silk flowers and gold tree picks. Tree picks are a major fav of mine – they add a great element and can cover a lot of ground and space on your tree so you can use less “stuff” but make as big of an impact.
Also, to make the Gold Christmas tree decorations shine even more, I added these faux crystals to drop throughout the tree. They help make the tree lights sparkle and ricochet the color and gold everywhere creating an elegant white and gold Christmas tree!

Gold Ornaments & Gold Christmas Tree Skirt
The Gold Christmas tree ornaments I used here sold out quickly so here are a few other places you can buy gold ornaments to recreate your gold Christmas tree ideas. I decided to add a final touch of gold under the tree with a gold Christmas tree skirt. It often will offset perfect without overpowering the white and gold Christmas tree decorations.
Gold Ribbon for Christmas Tree
Without a doubt, my favorite Christmas ribbon for any decorated is made by D. Stevens. Man they create the most beautiful ribbon ever! Gold ribbon for Christmas tree is fairly easy to find – just look for one that’s wired. That’s most key. Bonus points if the ribbon is embellished, embroidered, or velvet! Striking ribbon can do the heavy lifting on any decor — I’ve used this same Gold ribbon for Christmas tree look on a few different trees – good ribbon can be versatile and you’ll use it year after year. Splurge if you can!,
