My Top Favorite Dermalogica Products – Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Review
Is Dermalogica good for your skin? I can answer that with enthusiasm, YES! Major, major fan.
I have sensitive skin and I use retinol so I tend to get red. So all of my advice comes from this POV. I absolutely love Dermalogica products.
Because I use retinol the the Dermalogica vitamin c serum is a great daytime serum that works great to brighten skin.
To wash my face every evening, I use the Dermalogica pre-cleanse oil to remove all of my makeup and then follow with the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. Together these make for a perfect, gentle, everyday double cleanse.
Usually once a week I use the Dermalogica exfoliant – typically not more than once a week since retinol is a natural exfoliant and I don’t want to dry out or aggravate my skin too much.
I’m huge into skin care and have tried a plethora of products out there and this is a great brand for sensitive skin.
For eyes, I’ve tried the Dermalogica Biolumin Vitamin C eye serum and it’s great . It’s very lightweight however, I don’t think it goes on well under makeup, so I use it at night.
As far as moisturizers, oh-holy-cow is the Super Rich Repair a game changer. I’ve never used such a deeply moisturizing product in my life. Put this on at night and wake up to the softest, most supple and bouncy skin you’ve ever had!

Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil
The Dermalogica cleansing oil the first step in your nighttime routine. I use a tiny bit of warm water with one-two pumps of the oil. Apply all over your face, eyes and neck — it will loosen up all of your makeup, including waterproof makeup, mascara and sunscreen! I like to use a washcloth with warm water to remove everything. The washcloth does a very light exfoliating and removes the Dermalogica pre cleanse oil and makeup before you move on to the double cleanse portion.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
The Dermalogica Cleansing Gel is a no frills, easy on your skin, highly effective cleanser! It’s excellent. I use this Dermalogica face wash as a double cleanse at night, or for a quick refresh in the morning. A little goes a long way — mix with water for a soft lather, all over clean. It’s fragrance free and excellent for sensitive or dry skin! The Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a permanent go-to for me! You’ll love it!

Daily Microfoliant
About twenty years ago I started using the Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub. Twenty years later I still swear by it. If twenty years isn’t long enough to use a product before writing a Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant review, then I’m not sure what is! The name actually changed though – now it’s called Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant.
Of all of their products, this, to me, is one the best Dermalogica products (well, this and the moisturizer I’ll review below.) This exfoliant powder is a rice powder – you don’t need a lot. Sprinkle it into your hands, add some water, and lightly exfoliate your entire face, neck and decolatage. Your skin will be so soft you can’t even believe it! It’s like a light buffing – removing top layer flakes and rough areas to prep your skin for moisture. It will provide a clean canvas for your makeup!

Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift
If you need a pick me up for your eyes, then you’ll love this! I like to use the Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift when I’m blow drying my hair. It gives this great product time to soak in before I do my makeup. After using it my skin looks brighter and fuller! I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, a cat and a husband. So I need to use this a lot!

Dermalogica BioLumin-C Vitamin C Serum
Hello, retinol users! This is what you want! Vitamin C works beautifully when paired with retinol. You should be using your retinol at night (it breaks down in the sun) so use this Dermalogica Vitamin C Serum in the morning. It will help brighten, soften, soothe and fight fine lines!
The Dermalogica Biolumin C Serum is excellent and I can’t get enough of it!

Yes please! This product is absolutely amazing, The Dermalogica Biolumin C Eye Serum really works to remove those dark spots under your eyes.
Pairs great with the Vitamin C for your face and goes on beautifully under makeup! I do like to apply a moisturizer on top of it. Heads up tho – I use at night. It *does not* go on well under makeup!

Dermalogica Super Rich Repair
Last but not least – this is not only one of the best Dermalogica products, but also one of my all time favorite discoveries of any product line. The Dermalogica Super Rich repair is one of the heaviest, instantly working moisturizers out there. A little goes a long way. If you have very dry skin, or patches of it, use this at night and wake up to the plumpest, softest skin you’ve ever had. I swear by this. My daughter actually stole it from me because she uses it as a spot treatment when her acne flares up and dries her skin. She said “this is magic”! This Dermalogica Moisturizer gets a gold star from us and is worth every penny!

That’s such a great question. Skin types are unique to each individual. As I mentioned above I suffer from seriously dry skin so the products that work best for me, may not be a fit for someone with oily or combination skin.

I can with so much confidence say yes! I get that there are a lot of skincare products out there but Dermalogica is used by Esthetician’s and is an affordable, reliant brand to use at home.
I’ve used Dermalogica for years and have nothing but great things to say about the products I have tried. Of course, no brand is perfect for everyone but to answer the question, are Dermalogica products good, I say yes!
