After years and years of decorating and photography Christmas trees for a living, I’ve learned a thing or two about how to hang Christmas ornaments like a pro! Read on for some little tips and tricks I use every year!
Hang ornaments as close to tree branch as possible.
If ornament is on ribbon or a wire, loop it around the branch a few times.
You don’t have to use regular ornaments! These crystals add sparkle and a soft look a a background to let ornaments shine!
Space out the color in a pattern — in this photo there are dark blue ornaments spaced out in an almost triangular form to move your eye around the tree.
Go all one note with silver ornaments, silver tree picks and silver snowflakes for ornaments that add sparkle and shimmer and texture but in a one-note tree!
Don’t forget that you can hang ornaments in places beyond the tree! My manzanita branch centerpiece has ornaments hanging from it for a gorgeous and unique dining room centerpiece!
