A collection of elevated casual outfits. From linen pant sets, to Sezane shorts outfits, Zimmermann linen stop looks and more.
I’m going through a bit of a style metamorphosis lately. Maybe it’s turning 45, or maybe it’s the fact that if I live in my pajamas I just don’t feel good about myself, that sparked it. But lately I’ve been working more about actually getting dressed.
Nothing with a drawstring, but also nothing that takes a ton of effort. I decided to start getting some spring and summer pieces to collect. It’s so helpful to see clothes on a person, so here are try on looks for your benefit. I want you to see what these pieces look like on my body frame.
For reference, I am 5’5 and weigh around 135.
These are all investment basic pieces that will work for a myriad of looks. Closet staples you’ll wear dressed up or down for years to come.
A recent brand discovery is Sezane. This Parisian brand has effortless cool-girl chic looks with a fantastic price point. The items all look like they should cost more than they do – and make for great spring or summer wardrobe additions, and an event better travel shop. I love that they release new looks every month so it’s always fresh.
I’ve also found that Banana-Republic has some incredible pieces these days. I love their new linen pieces and knitwear. The jewelry has also been spot on with chunky looks for that old money look everyone is chasing right now!
