alice olivia blouse & midi full skirt
I recently fell in love with the color emerald green all over again after splurging on this outfit for an event Alice and Olivia asked me to host in Atlanta (I was beside myself with excitement because I’m such a huge fan of this brand!) I wore this outfit by them to help promote the event. I forgot about this jewel tone since I don’t own much green and when I put it on, I wondered why I hadn’t been living in this color? I truly think it goes with every skin tone. I’m typically very fair, but in these photos I have a spray tan. This is a gorgeous color Alice Olivia blouse because it will transfer beautifully into fall! I am a big fan of the cold shoulder blouses because I just feel better being able to wear a bra. The off the shoulder are cute – but I don’t know. They just may not be for me. Sometimes I like them when I find the right one.
Also, this skirt is one of those faux wrap skirts that are everywhere right now. So pretty because they are really easy to wear and reveal just enough – but not too much! They come in arrange of colors and fabrics, so they can be as casual or as dressy as you want. Really great summer option to wear with even a tank or tee.
create the green floral look!
I would not hesitate to splurge on this Alice and Olivia blouse and also these velvet pumps are really affordable. Both work 100% right now this season and will carry you through to fall and winter. You could wear the green blouse with white shorts, jeans and then black pants and a blazer in the fall. It’s not a blouse that will have a shelf life at all! Neither will the shoes. I’m listing some more affordable faux wrap skirts here because I get that the one I’m spending cost an arm and a spray tanned leg!
That color is stunning and looks so great on you! I need something like that in my life. It’s so pretty and even though it’s dressy, it looks comfortable (even the heels!).
It’s really comfortable. You don’t have to suck in your tummy (hello distracting floral print!!!) and you can wear a bra with the blouse (which to me equals comfort and ease!) And I wouldn’t even hesitate to throw on some flip flops with it. Then again, as a Florida girl originally I think flip flops go with everything, ha! Thanks for the comment, Kaitlyn.
