I’ve said this before, but if I can’t get dressed in under a minute, then that outfit isn’t for me. I prefer ease over fantastic fashion. Just my personal taste. I do like to look pretty and pulled together, though. I found this button up blouse from Anthropologie and immediately knew it would be a staple in my wardrobe. Anthropologie shirts can be hit or miss for me depending on how bold the pattern is. The soft look of this green and white shirt is pretty enough to stand on it’s own, but you can easily change up how you style it to make it look like you haven’t work it….three days in a row. 🙂
wear this Anthropologie shirt with
- white shorts or pants
- under a white blazer
- open with a white tank under and tied at the waist
- with a bold color pair of pants (pink would be fun!)
It’s easy, it’s pretty. The material is light enough for summer that it won’t show sweat marks. Yet it’s not too lightweight that it’s see through. It’s not 100% opaque but certainly doesn’t need a layered shirt below it!
how I styled the button down shirt
Here I’ve styled it with white shorts I love and a coral belt I bought at J.Crew years ago. They have lots of pretty belts this season that would look just as cute! I’m also wearing my favorite go to summer Jack Rogers sandals! I bought these a few years ago and they still look fantastic. Not only that but Jack Rogers continues to sell the same design but in a ton of colors. They are worth it!
