before & after inspiration
I’m so thankful you all read my posts. I really am. A few months ago I received an email from someone who reads my website asking about ideas for what art to buy, or how to frame their personal images.
Not long after she sent me photos of some of the pieces she purchased and how thrilled she was with them! She was gracious enough to share some fabulous Before and After Inspiration photos of her home that she said I could share. Let’s start with some eye candy.
In her terms she called it a “my advice in action” or “copycatting in style.” I love it!
Before and After Inspiration
This is what she shared with me: she moved from a tiny condo to large suburban home. She hired an interior designer to help with paint color, light fixtures and a few furniture pieces. Her goal was to change the house from dark and ornate to bright and transitional in style.
Her primary reason for writing me was to ask about art ideas for bare spots on the wall, however she wanted to keep a lot of traditional and meaningful family pieces hanging. I recommended some pieces here. I suggested using Framebridge for the sentimental photos.
She used Framebridge to frame some honeymoon photos (which look like art just by themselves). She purchased the Nude sketch image I recommended to hang in her bathroom. It’s very similar to the one I chose for my own bathroom. I love how both turned out!
Primary wall color used: a light blue called Contented SW#6191
Her house came out great, didn’t it? The Dining Room is without a doubt a stunning change and room now! Envious!
Well done, friend. Thanks for sharing and letting us all see as well! Isn’t it amazing what a light fixture and a few new pieces of furniture can do?!
Shop the look of her home!
I love the gorgeous dinning room and those chairs are beautiful and love to have them at my table could you tell me where i could get those chairs? and could you please keep sharing your wonderful and beautiful ideals and picture! and i love both of those picture!
Thank you so much, Wanda! I’m so pleased you’re following and enjoying my posts! The chairs were actually custom made close to nine years ago. They still look nice don’t they? I used Robert Allen fabric. I’ll keep an eye out for a good lookalike though for you!
