This candy caned Christmas tree has the traditional shades of everyone’s favorite candy, but with a heavy helping of polish and elegance!
For those that love the traditional Christmas red color, you will love the deep and lush shade of this red burgundy velvet ribbon that the tree is focused on. This deep red velvet red pairs beautifully with the crisp white velvet ribbon!
The ribbon is hung in a wrapped formation. I was tempted to add some bows, but I still wanted that a slight geometric, crisp edge to the bow. So it’s only a four-looped bow spaced every so often.
In order to give the loops a strong edge, a wire tie was used at every loop to give a great, tailored cinch.
Bow Tree Topper
My signature tree topper has always been using tree picks, but for this candy cane red and white Christmas tree, I used a few oversized red velvet bows to be the topper! I pinned together two pre-made bows. These bows are my favorite – I use them at my front door and on my banister garland, too!
The bows are oversized, pre-made and ready to hang! They make decorating so easy!
Red Ornament
Ornament collections are some of my favorite, because they make decorating so easy! Ornament collections let you finish trees in a cohesive look and theme, but also allow you to blend in personal ornaments but still have it have a full and complete color scheme.
This traditional red ornament looks so rich and deep with the burgundy and white ribbon!
