Thank you, James Avery, for sponsoring this post and The James Avery Jewelry GIVEAWAY to one of my dear readers.
Why the James Avery Angel Charm Means so Much to Me
In college I was in a sorority whose mascot was an Angel. For those who don’t know, in a sorority you mutually choose a “big sister:”
A big sister is there to guide you, listen to you, keep you on the straight and narrow and hopefully act as a positive role mode for what a college women should behave like.
I was so fortunate when I was paired with Leslie S. Leslie is a Christian woman and fit all of those attributes.
On Inauguration day she gifted me the James Avery angel charm. So when James Avery approached me to collaborate I felt it very meant to be!
My Symbolic Legacy I’m Saving for My Daughter
My James Avery angel charm represents a guiding force letting me know I am loved and looked after. I had been saving it to give to my own daughter one day!
Finding the Perfect James Avery piece for your children
Now more than ever our children need to know their parents love. They need a sense of connection, of protection and a guiding spirit within them to let them know they aren’t alone.
James Avery Charms fit the bill perfectly. The company asked me to promote the James Avery angel charm, keep one for myself and gift one to one of you.
I couldn’t think of a better gift to give someone than the protection of an Angel of Peace.

How we turned this charm into a Mother Daughter thing
I’m still planning on giving this to my daughter one day. This is the Angel of Peace I received from James Avery Jewelry in 1997 on the left which I now call my mom charms by James Avery.
On the right is the updated Angel I’m choosing to gift to my daughter now, and GIVE AWAY ONE to a lucky FOLLOWER.
You could make this your own mom charms by James Avery and gift your daughter this Christmas with her very own angel charm.

The Best Christmas Tradition
Our boys grandmother introduced me to a beautiful tradition for Christmas. Just as Jesus received three gifts from the three wiseman, my children can only ask for three gifts.
The remainder of gifts are at Santa’s discretion, but in a world of gluttony and in the spirit of never over asking, they are only allowed to ask for three gifts.
It’s a beautiful sentiment and I’ve been so proud of my children for the decision making, and understanding that there are boundaries in asking without giving.
