Our daughter recently turned ten years old. Milestone birthday! She requested a kitty theme party given her love for her sweet white cat, Albie, and all kittens everywhere!
I’m sharing kitty party theme ideas we had at her party for inspiration. It turned out adorable!
I hired Sweet P Parties to help make the cat birthday party come to life and they did a fabulous job! Everything from the treats, to the kitten party favors were meowy cute!
The cutest yard balls that all worked with the color scheme of the plates hung from this frame with all of the yummy treats and snacks below it. Let’s Pawty – I mean. Give me a pun and I’ll have some fun for sure!
The adorable cake had a fondant 3D version of the kitty from the plate. So cute!
Little white sticks held up a banner that looked very similar to the large decoration banner wishing our daughter a happy birthday!
Not only did the cake look adorable, but honestly it was delicious! It was a marble cake to please all of the girls there!
I also loved how they used buttercream frosting on the cake (I can’t stand the taste of fondant) but kept the fondant limited to the decor.
This kitten party came together so well, and this was the icing on top of the cake!
The party was a sleepover so while they watched a movie, these were the adorable snacks for them to munch on!
Popcorn in sweet kitten bags, goldfish tied with bells like kitties wear on their collar (what a great idea!) and so many more!
Kitten peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Each with peanut butter holding on the pretzel whiskers. Little frosting eyes and hearts on them. Too cute to eat! All of the girls just kept them on their plates to stare at!
Chocolate mini donuts were covered in icing and then laced with “yarn” to make little kitten yarn ball treats!
Cheese mice with almond ears? Genius! I admit to snagging a few of these for protein to keep me going for a sleepover!
No girl party is complete without a fun craft. She’s ten and she still loves to get crafty with her friends which I love.
The girls decorated little cat houses. Sweet P Parties showed up with all of the paper for the sides of the house pre-cut (God Bless her.)
Every girl had their own glue, beads, ribbon and more to decorate their house!
Everything brought was mess-free. No glitter, etc. All of the needs were laid out neatly so all the girls could easily get creative and design their house, but the clean up took less than five minutes!
Now that’s my kind of party!
The best part about these crafts, they act as cat party favors! This gave all the girls something they could take home with them.

When the girls were done decorating their kitten house, they visited the Kitten Adoption basket. They each picked out their kitten to take home with their house!
Each kitten had a blank name tag on it so the girls could give their new kitten a name! They also got to take home a sweet pair of kitten ears. These are the kittens we used!
A hugely successful cat themed party and our daughter was thrilled! I love my kids more than anything so it’s my joy to help bring their loves to life!

IS there a place where you can order the cardboard houses, or do you have a template for them? Such a cute idea!
I got them from Sweet P parties — I used the link in the blog. She may have a template for them! Wasn’t it a fabulous idea? And such a hit with the girls!
Do you know where exactly we can find the cat house template or buy the supplies. I can’t find them
Is there a template or place to purchase I have contacted sweet p parties several times
