How to Make Blue Work in the Kitchen
I recently redesigned my kitchen with an all blue theme. Shocked? You shouldn’t be!
Blue is a gorgeous color that can evoke peace, calmness or even energy. The blue kitchen tone I went with is a celadon color somewhere between a mint green and soft blue.
The primary focal point is our blue stone range, but I accented it with other blue accessories. The challenge of how to complete my already blue kitchen with blue furniture and decor started.
If you’re creating a blue kitchen, a lot of people are attracted to navy blue but are gun-shy about blue kitchen accessories. The current trend is an all white kitchen.
If you want to add blue, you can easily find some navy blue bar stools, blue plastic cups, or blue kitchen accessories.
I think a blue oven and navy blue counter height stools are my favorite additions to bring home the color with a strong focal point. But here are some great navy blue kitchen decor ideas to add in the blue color to your kitchen if you want to start slowly.
