I bought these Rag and Bone Margot boots two years ago at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They were so enormously popular that they sold them again the following year. I wear them all the time, and lately I’ve been living in them with my new slouchy off the shoulder sweatshirt that cost only $42! Expensive style booties, affordable and cute sweatshirt! It balances out! Outfits for booties are essential for me because of the low heal, easy to style factor and everyday functionality.
how I style booties
I prefer the “less is more” effortless look. Why? Because ain’t nobody in my house have time to spend futzing with getting dressed in the morning! If I can’t throw an outfit on in less than 5 minutes I have no business owning it.
I use the no show socks, throw on jeans, give them the slightest roll up but without doing it perfectly, add a shirt and go. I don’t want my jeans perfectly rolled and even on both legs. Make it look like you took 10 seconds to do it — which is probably more time than I spend actually doing it!
I think booties make you look cool without the work of actually being cool. Ha!

Are they expensive? Yes. Are they amazing? 100%. I actually only own one pair of booties. The color of these works with everything, so instead of buying a lot of pairs of booties, I opted for one great pair that are versatile. I’ve put them on with everything from leather pants, to dress pants to dresses. The fit is like a dream, and I’m picky about shoes. I just ordered a suede brush set to keep them clean.
