Life is chaotic enough, and I lose things too easily, so having places to hide or store clutter help calm my brain These days we are all still living on top of each other. Couples are working from home, schools seems to always have holidays, and the build up of junk makes it hard to keep an organized house! I’ve gathered storage furniture ideas for both living spaces and the small in between moments, like bathroom countertops, utensil storage, small dorm rooms and more!

If you’re helping a child organize their dorm room or college apartment, a lot of these items will be perfect! All of these furniture ideas will help maximize space – both floor and wall space since neither will be plentiful (and least it wasn’t for me!)
Wardrobe Bar

I love this bookshelf cart because not only is it cute, but it’s also on wheels. This would be great to organize a kids room, arts and craft cabinet or even your home office supplies to store in a closet and roll out when needed.

This is my daughter’s jewelry stand. There is plenty of space to cram in all the bracelets, hair tie’s, or necklaces to your hearts content (as you can see!) Place rings, errands or hair clips in the dish below.
Cabinet Rolling Laundry Bin
This is the laundry bin I use to keep my laundry room organized. The rack is mounted to the bottom of the cabinet so you can slide it out to sort white’s and dark’s but keep everything organized.
Under the Sink Organization
This acrylic under the sink organizer is so happy and clean looking! The tired shelves roll out for easy access, plus it’s easy to clean. This is the perfect bathroom organizer as well.
Pantry Organization
I have something similar to this and it works like a dream. I use it to hold paper towels, cleaning supplies on the lower shelves while storing things like cans, peanut butter and chips. Add more pantry storage space without adding the square footage!
Baby Supplies Storage
I used something very similar when my daughter was born. An over the door baby storage came in so handy for holding diapers, cream and even toys or clothing items!

I like this wire shoe storage much better than cloth ones. For starters, cloth ones get very dirty and messy. This shoe holder also allows for a ton of shoes – from tennis shoes to pumps. It looks neat and tiny while keeping your closet clean!
Hanging Storage
I use these in my guest closet to keep extra linens or guest supplies easily accessible. The nice thing about them is you can put them on a closet hanging bar, but also on a rolling rack wardrobe bar if you’re storing out of season items. This is similar in style as the earlier jewelry storage, but this is free standing so it doesn’t use wall space! Plus this has lights on the inside! So if you also need to store makeup or skincare, you can do that, too!

This isn’t furniture, but it was too pretty not to include. If you lack drawer space in your kitchen, hold your cooking utensils on the counter. But while doing so, make it look pretty! The palette of this blue utensil crock is dreamy and light. It’s giving coastal, happy vibes for sure!
